Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is an American multinational information technology services and consulting company. It is headquartered in Teaneck, New Jersey, U.S. Cognizant is part of the NASDAQ-100 and trades under CTSH. It was founded in Chennai, India as an in-house technology unit of Dun & Bradstreet in 1994, and started serving external clients in 1996.
After a series of corporate reorganizations, there was an initial public offering in 1998. Prayag M P has been the CEO of the company since January 2023, replacing Brian Humphries.
Cognizant was established in 1994 in Chennai, India, as Dun & Bradstreet Satyam Software (DBSS), a 76:24 joint venture between Dun & Bradstreet and Satyam Computers, with Kumar Mahadeva, and Srini Raju as the founding CEOs and MDs.
It began with 50 employees in Chennai as Dun & Bradstreet’s in-house technology unit focused on implementing large-scale IT projects for Dun & Bradstreet businesses. In 1996, the company started pursuing customers beyond Dun & Bradstreet.
In 1996, Dun & Bradstreet spun off several of its subsidiaries, including Erisco, IMS International, Nielsen Media Research, Pilot Software, Strategic Technologies and DBSS, to form a new company called Cognizant Corporation, headquartered in Chennai, India. Three months later, in 1997, DBSS renamed itself Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Interpret the functional requirements and low-level design and develop coding components.
Interpret the entities/relationships and create tables in database.
Describe relationships between tables and write queries to retrieve data from the database.
Perform CRUD operations and write Stored Procedures for a given Low Level Design.
Prepare test cases/scripts/data and execute manual/automated tests.
Analyze root cause and fix service tickets as per standard operating procedures, for production support environments.
Demonstrate proficiency in Tools related to IT Service Management and Data Analytics.
Possess a strong drive to innovate, experiment with new technology and tools.
Display traits of self-discipline and accountability.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates of 2024 batch with any 3-year full time degree program can apply.
At the time of registration, consistent academic record of a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma & UG with no standing arrears in current education
At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 60% aggregate in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears
Students applied for re-evaluation and waiting for the results would be validated with the initial results score declared.
Appropriate CGPA to % conversion to be considered as per university norms
Opportunities are open to Indian nationals / OCIs / PIOs who are currently residing in India
Flexible to relocate to anywhere in India, work in any shift / technology / domain, including work from office location basis business requirements

Please ensure your father’s name and all the other details are accurate in PAN card Background verification will fail if last name is not updated in the PAN card. Background verification will also fail if the PAN card name and the registered name is not matching.

Important points to note for registration
