About the Internship

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, develop and execute public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
• Coordinate and manage media inquiries, interviews, and press conferences.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Manage crisis communication and develop strategies to mitigate negative publicity.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align PR activities with overall marketing objectives.
• Plan and execute events, including product launches, press conferences, and media tours.
• Create and manage content for internal and external communications, including newsletters, blogs, and social media.
• Track and report on PR campaign performance and media coverage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Media & Public Relations Manager or similar role.
• Strong network of media contacts and relationships with journalists.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in managing media inquiries and crisis communication.
• Ability to create compelling content for various communication channels.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools.
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the news or media industry.
• Experience in event planning and management.
