Intern’s Responsibilities
- Prepare indirect tax returns and file them (where required) using the country-specific filing mechanism – applicable only to GDS.
- Demonstrate understanding of fundamental tax concepts and proactively expand tax knowledge through client assignments and current tax developments.
- Work on multiple projects within the tax segment and get cross-trained.
- Proposing ways to improve the efficacy and efficiency of work processes.
- Create and deliver high-quality, on-time services and work products.
- Follow Ernst & Young’s compliance procedures.

Eligibility Criteria of Ernst and Young Interns Hiring Drive
- Candidates who have pursued/completed Graduate/postgraduate degrees in commerce are preferred.
- 0 – 2 years of experience, preferably in accounting or tax.
- Dynamic, imaginative, and problem-solving focus with excellent communication abilities.
- Strong English in written and vocal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, and a working grasp of other MS Office and web-based apps.
- Basic understanding of how ERP systems work and how to use them.
- Individuals expressing a strong desire to cooperate with multi-national clients.
- Team player – propelling the team forward
- Individuals have the ability to operate independently.
