Solar Energy Corporation Of India (SECI) was set up on 20th Sept 2011 in India to facilitate the implementation of the National Solar Mission (NSM) and the achievement of targets set therein. It is the only CPSU dedicated to the renewable energy sector.
About Solar Energy Corporation Of India Internship
SECI(Solar Energy Corporation Of India) Internship Policy aims to provide comprehensive practical experience to students pursuing Engineering, Renewable Energy Sector, CA/CS, AICWA, CMA, or MBA degrees from recognized institutions within India or abroad. The internship offers exposure to various divisions within SECI, fostering the process of analysis through data collection and collation.
Purpose of the Internship(SECI)
The Interns shall have an opportunity to know about the implementation of different renewable energy schemes in India. They will get an opportunity to contribute to the renewable sector by generating inputs & analysing data along with practical exposure to other professional fields.The ‘Interns’ will be able to learn about the Government of India’s renewable energy and solar-wind hybrid schemes, as well as floating solar, solar manufacturing, battery energy storage systems, solar park development, solar rooftop projects, and off-grid solar applications.

Who Can Apply For This Internship
Students engaged in research or pursuing Engineering, Renewable Energy Sector degrees, CA/CS, AICWA, CMA, or MBA in HR/Finance/IT/CC are eligible for Internships. The internship serves as a conduit for students to understand the implementation of Government of India schemes in Renewable Energy and contribute to the sector through data analysis and practical exposure.
Duration
The internship will be on paid basis for a
Engineering/M-Tech students (during internship/course): Minimum period of 03 months & maximum period of 06 months.
For CA/CS /ICWA/ CMA: 06 months to 03 years,
For MBA students:Minimum 07 weeks to 06 months.
Those who have completed the course left in between will not be eligible.
Stipend
An amount of Rs 5000/- shall be paid as stipend to all Engineering Graduate & Post Graduate Degree / Ph. D in Renewable Energy Sector / CA/CS /ICWA/CMA/MBA ni HR/ Finance/ IT/CC.
Amount of Rs 8000/- per month for internship less than 06 months.
An amount of Rs 12,000/- per month for internship of 06 months to 03 years.
Perks and Benefits
The interns shall have the opportunity to learn about the implementation of Government of India schemes in Renewable Energy, including Solar-Wind Hybrids, Floating Solar, Solar Manufacturing, and Battery Energy Storage Systems.Upon completion of the internship and submission of the project report, interns receive a certificate of completion from the HR department. This certificate acknowledges the interns’ dedication and the valuable experience gained during their tenure.
